David Goulding (14) was second in the overall championship at the Young Stockperson Intermediate Finals of the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society which took place in Carlisle. David qualified at a workshop on the farm of Tim and Doreen Corridan, Co. Limerick, earlier in the year and travelled across to Carlisle along with four other Republic of Ireland finalists. A total of 30 youngsters from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland participated in the event, which was judged by Bridget Borlase from the Sacombe Simmental herd.
